On 19 April 2015 members and volunteers of the environmental NGO “Little Earth” gathered in Dushanbe to sum up the results for the recent year. 20 participants from Dushanbe, Khudjanda and Khorga discussed events and activities organized throughout the year and the plans for future activities.
Young environmentalists were outspoken in discussing the existing problems and seeking the best ways to overcome them. One of the major issues under discussion was how to improve communication between Little Earth and teams of local volunteers.
Tolis Artikov a volunteer of Little Earth provided a masterclass in assembling footages for short promo environmental videos that evoke high interest of participants.
Presentations by participants on the global environmental problems was yet another interesting part of the meeting agenda.
Team competition and games are also an integral part of many meetings since it is a strong tool in convincing youngsters on the benefits of team building and joint efforts.
The meeting in Dushanbe was organized within the SPARE Program with the support of Naturvernforbundet/ Friends of the Erath Norway and was fruitful in strengthening relations, and information sharing , also it was noted that such gathering could build a platform for enlarging and strengthening environmental network among various regions of the country.
